2. Information We Collect
We may collect authentication method, Apple account identifier when Apple sign-in is used, Google account identifier when Google sign-in is used, email address, email verification status, friend search ID, display name, country, time zone, display language, occupation, notification time, interests, morning activities, posted images, likes, comments, reports, blocks, device information, app usage logs, payment status, and inquiry details.
3. Purposes of Use
We use collected information for registration and identity confirmation, attribute-based morning friend matching, providing posts and reactions, notifications, safety management, report handling, fraud prevention, customer support, service improvement, usage analysis, paid features, and legal compliance.
4. Data Protection Policy
We limit the information we collect to what is necessary, use it only for stated purposes, and maintain handling procedures so that only authorized persons can access it, in accordance with applicable privacy laws, guidelines, and App Store requirements.
5. Photos and Posts
Posted images are deleted or hidden after the display period ends. However, we may retain information to the extent necessary for report handling, safety checks, incident investigation, backups, or legal obligations.
6. Device Permissions
Device permissions such as notifications, photos, and camera access are used only when necessary to provide the relevant feature. If a permission is not granted, features that do not require that permission may still be used.
7. Third-Party Sharing and Service Providers
We do not provide personal data to third parties except with user consent, when required by law, when necessary to protect life, body, or property, or when sharing is necessary with service providers for payments, authentication, cloud hosting, analytics, notifications, and similar operations.
8. International Data Handling
Cloud, authentication, analytics, payment, and other service providers used by AM38 may process information outside Japan. We take necessary safety management measures in accordance with applicable laws.
9. Security Measures
We take necessary and appropriate measures to prevent leakage, loss, damage, and unauthorized access, including access control, encrypted communications, protection of stored data, permission management, log management, service provider management, backup management, and internal handling rules.
10. Incident Response
If we identify an actual or suspected leakage, loss, or damage of personal information, we will confirm the facts, prevent further damage, investigate the cause, take recurrence prevention measures, and report to relevant authorities or notify affected users as required by law.
11. Retention Period
We retain information for the period necessary to achieve the purposes described in this policy. Posted images and information that are no longer needed after the display period ends will be deleted or anonymized in sequence, except where retention is necessary for reports, legal compliance, backups, or similar purposes.
12. Disclosure, Correction, and Deletion
Users may request disclosure, correction, suspension of use, deletion, and other actions regarding their personal data held by us. Requests are accepted through the app or the contact address listed above.
13. Account Deletion
When a user deletes an account, we delete information linked to that account except information that must be retained for legal or operational reasons. Deletion from backups may take additional time. See Account Deletion for details.
14. Minors
AM38 is intended for users aged 17 or older. If a minor uses the app, consent from a parent or guardian is required.
15. Changes
We may update this policy. If we make important changes, we will notify users through in-app notices or other appropriate methods.
